Love, Life and Lunacy (5th June 2008 - 1.06pm)
It has been an incredible week. Just when you thought everything was reaching the point of no return, that your world would be torn apart beyond sight of repair, within a split second it can just as easily turn into the most incredible dream come true. So where is the dividing line? Nobody knows what lies around the corner of course and this is what makes life so exciting. But as sure as the wind blows and the rain falls down on our delicate heads, there will always be change in our lives and this is my message of hope to you all today.
Love is a strange thing. We all strive to find the perfect soulmate, lover, lifetime partner but when we do find them, over time, we tend to alienate them because they appear to be treading on our own dedicated turf or restrict our personal need for freedom. The result is apparent, just look at the figures relating to divorce in this period, over 84% in fact. So what happens between achieving the dream and the ensuing madness that is splitting up. And why is it always the bad stuff that sticks in our minds. Why do we feel the need to forget all the glory achieved? We all need to relax a little more and be thankful for the love we hold dear to our hearts. You never fall out of love with someone you truly adore. And yet, we continue to seek reasons not to love them anymore. Roll the titles, fade to black, the end of a fairytale. Open your eyes and see the light good people, there should only ever be darkness when we sleep and have no need for light except through our dreams which we so easily destroy for no good reason.
Life is hard enough day by day but for some reason there are those people that decide to inflict extreme pain on the already suffering public. Yes I am referring to you mr and mrs debt collection agencies. You are the scum of the earth and are living life with no feeling or sympathy for your fellow humans. You are not special nor are you any better than the cleaner that empties your bins every night. The only difference between you and them is that they work a lot harder and get paid a lot less. You should be grateful anyone employs you at all your heartless fiends. You are despicable cretins. I spit on you and your kind. You can't get blood from a stone nor can you force people who are going through severe hardship to part with the little money they have to feed themselves and their families. So you constant pressure building phone calls and red bold typed letters will do no good. Try a little empathy and remember that your wages are paid by the victims of your chosen profession. How do you sleep?
Lunacy is a point in a person's life where nothing makes sense and where there is no comprehendable reason for what is going on inside their heads or around them. There is a fine line between sane and insane. Surprisingly we all think that we sit comfortably in the middle. This is of course not the case. Who has sympathy for those that cross the borders into insanity - not very many people it seems. Insanity is a mental illness not a life choice. If you truly feel sane then you have the ability to help those less fortunate than you and you should be helping your fellow humans not seeing them as a bother you can do well without. It makes me ashamed to be part of the human race when I come across such selfish arrogant people. You know who you are. For the few that have real feelings of mercy and appreciation for the difficult times each and every one of us goes through at some point in our lives, I am truly honoured to be your friend.
I am proud of who I am and what I have become over the years and when I give my love to you, be it as a friend, family or lover, it is with purity and in the true sense of the word. Bless you, my sweet kind-hearted souls.
Quote of the moment
"I feel like I've never been away from the heart that isn't mine".
